Kyocera KM-4035 Lease Scan Instructions

***Pre-requisite – In order to scan to your PC your PC must be set up in the KM-4035. If you don't know the name of your PC or your PC Name is missing from the menu please contact the administrator

***Note: These instructions are for use on YOUR PC. Do not attempt to use these directions within a Remote Desktop Session

Step 1

----

Repeat this procedure for each lease:

When placing your original include any addendums including parking, furniture, concessions, insurance, short-term or month to month addendums, utility, pet, etc.

Follow the directions in http://ftp.niederstmanagement.com/km4035_scanning.html to scan your lease file to your PC

Step 2

-------

Open your Scans folder which is located on your PC. Their is usually a shortcut labeled Scans on your desktop. The path to the scans folder in Windows Explorer is C:\Users\Username\Documents\Scans . Example path would something like C:\Users\IHSC-Leasing1\Documents\Scans. Contact the administrator for more info about shortcuts if necessary.

Right Click the file you scanned (which would be named something generic as ‘scan’ + the date), select Rename and rename the file using the following convention:

Property Name Tenant Building Unit number Lease Date.pdf - avoid using punctuation, spaces are OK

Example Name: Indian Hills Tenant Name Unit 224 April 1 2010.pdf

Copy the file you just renamed to the shortcut on your Desktop named 'Leases' or 'Leases on Server' in a subfolder that matches the lease date. If you do not have the shortcut on your desktop to connect to the Lease folder on the server contact your administrator.

If it doesn't already exist in the Lease folder on the server, create a directory named Month Year using other existing folders as an example
